NES 2010 - Proactive Ergonomics is the 42nd NES conference and will be held in Stavanger, Norway from the 6th-8th of September 2010.
The conference theme is proactive ergonomics.
There will be emphasis on how we can accommodate a person's needs, abilities and limitations through a thorough planning stage of workplaces and man made environments with regards to health and safety
NES 2010 will focus on proactive use of ergonomics in:
· Design of school buildings
· Universal Design
· Human Factors - preventing accidents and disaster scenarios
At NES 2010 there will be key note speakers and work shops covering the themes above.

In addition, there will also be several parallel sessions covering numerous different fields within the scientific and professional discipline of ergonomics. For the parallel sessions we welcome and encourage colleagues to submit abstracts and papers.
Conference fee
Before 1st of April: NES-members: 4.500 NOK / Non-members 4.950 NOK
After 1st of April: NES-members 4.750 NOK / Non-members 5.250 NOK
The conference is hosted by the Norwegian Ergonomics and Human Factors Society - NEHF
