The IEA Congress 2009 was held in Beijing August 10-14. The congress was well organized by the Chinese Ergonomics Society with approximately 1200 participants from 59 countries. The programming of the sessions was mostly organized by the various specialized IEA Technical Committees. Particular interest was given to Ergonomics and Sustainability, great interest were also for the “Future of Ergonomics”.
Two sessions were organized by NES Networks, i.e. the Visual Ergonomics Network and Ergonomics Inspection Network, which we are proud of – thank you for your great contribution! It was very interesting to attend such a big congress and fantastic to meet so many colleagues from all over the world in this fascinating country so far away!
